Cal Poly Invitational

This year’s Cal Poly Invitational was hosted by The Preserve Golf Club, one of the most scenic golf courses I got to play. Unfortunately, my trip started with not getting my golf clubs upon arrival in California. It was a struggle playing with a mix of coaches’ clubs and some of my old clubs which arrived during the first round.

National Team Training Trip
6.-16. Jan
Like Every year the Austrian National team organizes a training trip beginning of January. The goal of such a trip is to get back out into warm weather and compete against each other on grass again.

The Prestige hosted by Cal Poly
19.-21. Feb
My first tournament this season. It will be played in La Quinta, California on the well-known PGA West Norman Course. As I remember it being a very long and narrow course, it can be of advantage for me. In preparation, I will need to tidy up my tee shots and Iron play. Additionally, dialing in my putter should set me up for success. This is definitely a great trip I am very much looking forward to.
I started playing Golf at a young age, my parents and grandparents play it and I got the hang of it in Kids Practice at GC Linz-St.Florian, my home course. I played some Tennis growing up and skiing in the Winter had to be on the schedule too. But I realised early that Golf was my thing.
